Introductory Courses

Primary(6-8, Grade 1-2)

Students develop stronger vocal, dramatic, and dance skills through engaging musical theatre training that balances creativity with purposeful instruction. Designed to complement Ontario's Grade 1–2 Arts Curriculum, our play-based classes encourage greater independence, collaboration, and artistic growth while building the confidence to perform and communicate on stage.

Course Overview

Primary students learn foundational theatre habits through ensemble games, musical storytelling, and age-appropriate technique.

Course Highlights

Weekly lessons combining singing, acting, and movement.

Stage performance with costumes, props, and lighting.

Max class size of 12, with a 6:1 teacher-student ratio or better.

Every class combines singing, acting, and dance through engaging musical theatre training designed to build confidence, creativity, and artistic skill. Students experience:

  • Musical theatre classes integrating singing, acting, and dance to tell stories
  • Progressive vocal, drama, and movement training through engaging activities and performance projects
  • Creative improvisation, character exploration, and collaborative ensemble work
  • Age-appropriate choreography, musicianship, and stagecraft
  • Two fully produced stage performances each year, with costumes, lighting and props

  • Saturday: 11:00am - 12:30pm
  • Saturday: 12:45pm - 2:15pm
  • Sunday: 1:15pm - 2:45pm

These dates are extremely important for families to keep in mind when registering for this program. Students are expected to fully attend all classes listed, unless otherwise discussed at the beginning of the semester.

Fall Semester

Theatre Rehearsal Day: December 12th, 2026

Fall Theatre Performance: December 13th, 2026

Winter/Spring Semester

Professional Photo Shoot: May 1st-2nd, 2027

Theatre Rehearsal Day: June 19th, 2027

Year End Theatre Showcase Performance: June 20th, 2027

Tuition 2026/2027

Your tuition includes all class instruction, teaching materials, major costume and prop pieces, uniforms, theatre rental, professional theatre technicians, professional theatre makeup artists, professional photo shoots, and microphone rentals.
