Primary(6-8, Grade 1-2)

Every class combines singing, acting, and dance through engaging musical theatre training designed to build confidence, creativity, and artistic skill. Students experience:

• Musical theatre classes integrating singing, acting, and dance to tell stories
• Progressive vocal, drama, and movement training through engaging activities and performance projects
• Creative improvisation, character exploration, and collaborative ensemble work
• Age-appropriate choreography, musicianship, and stagecraft
• Two fully produced stage performances each year, with costumes, lighting and props

Throughout the year, students strengthen artistic foundations while developing the independence, discipline, and confidence needed for future performance training.

Before moving onto to Junior, students should be prepared to:

• Perform confidently while combining singing, acting, and movement
• Sing accurately with healthy technique, expressive storytelling, and growing musical independence
• Read and respond to rhythm, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and basic musical notation
• Learn, retain, and perform increasingly complex choreography
• Create believable characters using voice, movement, facial expression, and imagination
• Collaborate effectively within an ensemble while following rehearsal expectations
• Demonstrate growing independence, creativity, and confidence in performance
